SaferNet Brazil created and maintains the National Cybercrime Reporting Center, operated in partnership with public prosecutors and the Human Rights Secretariat of the Presidency, to strengthen efforts against cybercrimes that violate human rights. It also carries out awareness, education, and mobilization initiatives to promote ethical and responsible internet use, especially among children and adolescents. In addition to training educators, parents, students, legal professionals, and child-protection actors, SaferNet offers a free online service in Brazil to guide children, teenagers, parents, and educators facing digital violence, such as intimidation, blackmail, attempted sexual abuse, or forced exposure in intimate images or videos. Its HelpLine Brasil provides real-time online support from SaferNet’s specialized team.
